Business Development Manager – Scotland (Field-Based)

Major Recruitment are proudly working in partnership with a growing, multi-site commercial services provider is seeking a driven business development specialist based in Scotland. This role is ideal for someone that thrives on winning new business, and enjoys being on the road.

You’ll identify, target, and convert new clients, with an initial focus on hospitality and healthcare, expanding into facilities management.

The Role

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities across target sectors
  • Build and manage a strong, qualified sales pipeline
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, and commercial agreements
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring smooth handover internally
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and provide regular sales forecasts
  • Represent the business at events and networking opportunities

About You

  • Proven B2B field sales experience with strong results.
  • Confident in new business generation and closing deals.
  • Experience in sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, FM, or commercial services is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with cold outreach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Package

  • £50,000 base + uncapped commission.
